Webx Service & Support Update 2026

At Webx Design, we’re committed to ensuring the websites we manage remain secure, modern, reliable, and fully supported.

As technology continues to evolve, we’ve continued investing in the platforms, infrastructure, and services that help keep our clients’ websites performing at their best. We wanted to share some of the improvements we’ve made over recent years, along with a few updates to our website management and support services.

Continuing to Invest in Your Website

Over the past few years, we’ve delivered a wide range of improvements across the websites we manage, many of which have been included as part of our managed service without the need for separate project fees.

Software Licence Costs

Like many technology providers, we’ve seen significant increases in third-party software licensing costs over recent years.

While we’ve absorbed these increases for as long as possible, some supplier pricing changes now need to be reflected within our managed website services.

The monthly cost of our standard Webx Managed Website Package will increase from £35.00 to £40.00 per month.

Some websites also make use of additional specialist software that sits outside the core Webx package. These licences are charged separately based on supplier pricing and may be subject to vendor price increases from time to time.

Support Services Update

We’ve also reviewed our support services for the first time in six years.

Our standard hourly support rate will increase from £75 to £80 per hour.

 

This change reflects the increasing costs associated with delivering professional website support, including infrastructure, software, energy, training, and business operating costs.

Business Support Plans Continue to Offer Excellent Value

While our standard hourly rate has increased, we’ve worked hard to keep our support plan pricing virtually unchanged.

For example, our Business Support 60 plan has increased by just 50p, from £67.50 to £68.00 per month, despite rising operating costs over the same period.

  • 60 minutes of support time each month
  • An effective support rate of just £68 per hour
  • A saving of £12 per hour compared to our standard support rate
  • Priority support and enhanced service benefits

Legacy Support Plan Changes

Clients currently using our legacy “Pay 30, Get 60” support plan will be migrated to our Business Support 60 plan over the coming months.

The updated plan provides:

  • An effective support rate of just £68 per hour
  • A saving of £12 per hour compared to our standard support rate
  • A reduced overage rate of £75 per hour instead of £105 per hour
  • Priority support benefits and reserved support capacity
