Joomla 4 Tips: Admin Layout, Extensions and Email Template

If you're new to Joomla 4, or just want some tips on how to get the most out of the new features, then this blog post is for you! Our new upgraded system has some great new features, such as the redesigned Admin layout and Mega Menu extension. In this blog post, we'll take a look at these changes and how they can help you build better websites for small businesses. We'll also explore the other new extensions and features that Joomla 4 has to offer.

One of the first things you'll notice in Joomla 4 is the new Admin layout. This redesign gives you a better preview of your website while you're editing it. You'll also find that the menus have been rearranged and that the settings and updates are easier to find, with some plugins updating with the click of a button. Plus, Joomla is now more responsive on mobile devices, so you can edit your website on the go.

If you're looking for an easy way to build custom menus, then you'll want to check out the Mega Menu extension. With this extension, you can build each menu within Yootheme's Builder and add any number of elements to your menus. You can also use the BuildAnywhere in Yootheme extension, allowing you to add a module to the page which opens up another builder. This is great for creating landing pages or custom content areas.

Joomla's media manager has also been improved and newly designed, allowing you to upload multiple files at once with its new drag and drop feature, edit, resize and crop your images within Joomla, and download files straight from the media manager. It's also easier to get the information on each file such as the file size.

The new email template feature allows you to choose the content of the emails sent out from your site. You can now create email templates sent to users for different actions like registration, Joomla password reset and reminders. Your email content can now be based on your website theme and branding.

If you are looking for an updated version of Joomla, with new features and a more responsive editing experience, then you should upgrade to Joomla 4. The new release has brought many changes and additions that can make your website building experience easier and more efficient. We recommend trying out some of the new extensions, to see how they can help improve your workflow.
